FOUNDER STORY

Hi! My name is Tara Srinivasan, and I currently go to Westlake High School in Austin, Texas! When I was thirteen years old, my family had this crazy idea to go climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. At first, this idea seemed completely undoable. But, with a little bit of fitness and encouragement, we were able to do it! While hiking, we had these AMAZING porters to help us. They made the whole experience so much better and enjoyable. But I noticed a big problem. The porters were doing so much work, but yet getting paid so little and also destroying their bodies. I decided I needed to do something to make a difference.
